Debra Oberlin, a former president of a defunct chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, was arrested recently by the Gainesville, Fla. police - for drunk driving, according to the Gainesville Sun.
Ewww witchy, but on the bright side......

This reminds me of my old highschool SADD president, who drove drunk a LOT. I know because he was dating my best friend and I saw him get in his car or on his motorcycle more than half-cut many many times. And then he would speak at SADD assemblies about not doing that. OH PLEASE.
Or a MADD president I know in my province who's son drives under the influence of 'medication' regularly. I know because he was married to my friend for years. The whole time she was Prez, she was covering for her son's episodes by getting him out of trouble and to add to the fun - a couple of years ago he got a Habitat for Humanity house given to him and his family because of their poor sad story of him being unable to work. I was DISGUSTED. It's a sad world out there. I am sad to say I have not donated to any MADD program since watching that Prez get her son out of trouble with the police numerous times because of her 'connections'. It sickened me. No offense to the great MADD workers out there, but I had to seriously question the funds in my particular region after that.

I have to agree, it is sad to see the moral corruption eating away at these groups, there is almost no charity that remains stainless these days. Seems folks tend to see them selves as the privileged class and the rules just don't apply to the likes of their exalted being..... Hypocrites and just makes me think of how some animals are more equal then others.
