Temps today are supposed to be a record high of some 46 C with the humidity.
Perhaps not that hot for some folks, but this is not a dry heat, already when walking it feels as if you are wading through warm semi (un) congealed jello.
Going into town to round up some vulnerables, grey haired mamma of the grey lady, my daughter and the princessa, everyone dropping by tonight for a BBQ dinner in some A.C.

You're now getting what we just got rid of. Thankfully, today we're in the mid 20s, compared to the 47 with humidex we had since Saturday. Even my poor Kid, who has excess energy all. the. time. was dragging her little behind.
It has been an odd year for weather, and I hope it is going to settle out now!

Yes it has been an odd year, a very cold and wet spring, a summer that I thought would never really ever show, all the crops are behind because the ground was too wet to seed.
I also hope it settles out now.
